Your Role

As a Technology & Data Consultant, you will play a key role in helping clients imagine, design and deliver their AIdriven future. You will work across the full transformation lifecycle—from discovery and strategy through to delivery and implementation—supporting organisations to modernise their data foundations, adopt emerging technologies and create sustainable value from AI.

You will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across Capgemini Invent and the wider Capgemini Group, working alongside strategists, designers, architects, engineers and industry experts to deliver scalable, responsible and cuttingedge solutions.

At Consultant / Senior Consultant level, you will also contribute to the growth of our Data & AI practice—shaping market offerings, supporting business development and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

We are looking for consultants across multiple disciplines, from technology strategy and architecture through to data, AI and operating model design. Regardless of your specific background, you will contribute to complex, endtoend transformations that sit at the intersection of strategy, technology and humancentred change.

In this role you will play a key role in:

Data & AI Governance

  • Supporting the design and implementation of Data & AI governance frameworks
  • Contributing to operating model design, governance uplift and data maturity improvement
  • Translating business and technical pain points into structured governance requirements, controls and initiatives

Delivery & Execution

  • Contributing across all phases of the project lifecycle: discovery, strategy, design, delivery and implementation
  • Working closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed
  • Leading or supporting Agile delivery and technology transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations and integrations
  • Analysing engineering practices and helping uplift tooling, automation, performance and ways of working

Strategy, Architecture & Transformation

  • Designing highvalue Data & AI use cases aligned to client strategy and business objectives
  • Defining enterprisegrade data, analytics and AI architectures using bestofbreed technologies
  • Developing technology strategies, data roadmaps and target-state architectures across public and private sector clients
  • Driving technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including AI adoption, platform modernisation and operating model change
  • Creating business cases and value narratives to support investment decisions
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, validate assumptions and align on outcomes
  • Preparing clear, structured insights, reports and executivelevel presentations
  • Translating complex technical concepts into practical, businessfocused recommendations

Advisory, Growth & Practice Development

  • Conducting research, benchmarking and analysis to inform IT, platform and data strategy decisions
  • Supporting vendor and tool evaluations and selection processes
  • Analysing IT cost structures and application portfolios to drive transparency, optimisation and value tracking
  • Supporting IT due diligence, integration and separation planning for M&A programs
  • Contributing to collaborative selling, proposal development and market offers
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, learning and continuous improvement within the Data & AI team

Your Profile

  • Applicants with Australian citizenship or hold permanent work rights in Australia.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline
  • At least 1.5 years' professional experience in management consulting or a related role, with demonstrated delivery of tangible client outcomes
  • Experience designing or delivering Data & AI strategies, governance frameworks, platforms or use cases within complex organisations
  • Understanding of technology, platform and IT strategy, including architecture, operating models and transformation approaches
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and influencing strategic decisionmaking
  • Ability to bridge technical and nontechnical perspectives, communicating clear, concise and compelling insights
  • Experience working in fastpaced, ambiguous consulting environments, guiding clients through complex technology and AI journeys
  • Solid project and people management experience, including Agile delivery and technology transformation
  • Enthusiasm, collaboration and the ability to motivate teams and support selforganising ways of working
  • Passion for emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Cloud, and advanced security or cryptography
  • Flexibility to work onsite and travel as required
