What You’ll Need

  • A degree (or relevant experience) in law, economics, statistics, social research, or similar
  • Top-notch prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Passion for data, AI, and digital policy
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • Confidence using modern tools (including AI!) and Microsoft Office
  • Relationship-building skills

Eligibility/Other requirements: This position requires a national security clearance at the baseline/ negative vetting 1 (NV1) level issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). As such, the incumbent must be an Australian citizen, be willing to undergo the security clearance process, and have an ability to obtain and maintain the relevant clearance as a requirement of continuing employment.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
