  • Reward for your work – competitive salary package, annual reviews and access to the Georgiou Perks discounts platform

About the role:

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling the safe, practical and value-driven adoption of Artificial Intelligence across the Georgiou business. Working closely with IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Risk, operational teams and the AI Steering Committee, you will help translate approved AI opportunities into secure, scalable and supportable business solutions. This role will focus on removing technical, integration and operational barriers that prevent AI initiatives from moving from concept through to controlled business deployment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the deployment, integration and scaling of approved AI initiatives across the business
  • Assessing technical feasibility, integration requirements, data access needs and supportability of AI use cases
  • Coordinating with IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Risk and operational stakeholders to ensure compliant and secure AI adoption
  • Supporting AI-enabled workflows, automation initiatives and agentic AI capabilities
  • Assisting business teams to move AI concepts from pilot stage into practical operational use
  • Developing AI playbooks, prompt guides, governance frameworks and safe-use guidance
  • Supporting AI training, awareness and adoption initiatives across project and corporate teams
  • Contributing to AI governance, acceptable use standards and responsible AI practices
  • Evaluating AI platforms, vendors and tools across security, privacy, scalability and commercial considerations
  • Monitoring AI adoption, platform performance, user feedback and continuous improvement opportunities

Your skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
  • Demonstrated experience delivering digital, automation, business improvement or technology-enabled change initiatives
  • Practical understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, capabilities, risks and limitations
  • Experience working with enterprise AI platforms, APIs, workflow automation or AI-enabled business applications
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to translate business problems into practical delivery solutions
  • Strong written communication skills, including executive reporting and business case development
  • Experience supporting change management, adoption, training or capability uplift initiatives
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to assess value, effort, risk and ROI
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or project-based environments highly regarded
  • Strong alignment with our values: Care, Integrity, Excellence

If you share our values, are driven by teamwork and innovation, and are looking to help shape the future of AI within a major Australian contractor, we want to hear from you.

We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team: We welcome applicants of all cultures, backgrounds and identities; people with disabilities, members of the LGBTIQ+ community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and current or former members of the Australian Defence Force, including veterans and reservists.
