Senior Manager - Assurance Technology & AI Data Readiness

The opportunity

As our Senior Manager, Assurance Technology & AI Data Readiness, you'll connect business priorities, technology strategy and financial governance to help the Assurance practice realise greater value from technology investments. You'll also help grow and deliver AI Data Readiness services, enabling clients to assess their data, governance and operating models and build practical roadmaps for AI adoption at scale.

This is a hybrid position based in one of our EY offices across Oceania. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as the key link between Assurance, Client Technology and Finance, translating business priorities into technology roadmaps, investment plans and clear governance outcomes.
• Provide transparency and challenge over technology expenditure, budgets and cost allocations, while developing business cases and strengthening accountability for benefits realisation.
• Lead and support AI Data Readiness engagements, facilitating executive workshops, assessing data and operating model maturity, and developing prioritised roadmaps that accelerate responsible AI adoption.

Skills and attributes for success

Critical to success in this role are:

• Strong technology leadership and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to operate across business, finance and technology functions.
• Commercial experience assessing technology investments, budgets and cost allocation models, supported by sound technology governance and portfolio management capability.
• Knowledge of data management, data governance, AI readiness and emerging technology trends, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior executives.

Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience leading technology transformation or digital enablement initiatives in a large, complex and collaborative organisation.
• Experience managing technology portfolios, budgets or governance processes and developing investment recommendations.
• Experience supporting AI, data or analytics programs, including data quality, governance, ownership, architecture or operating model assessments.
• Experience working directly with external clients in an advisory or consulting environment, including workshops, proposals or go-to-market activities.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation depending on skills and experience.
