Transform complex data into actionable insights that solve real business challenges. As a Data Scientist supporting operations, you will partner with operations leaders to uncover opportunities for data-driven decision-making. As part of the Analytics Centre of Excellence, you’ll guide stakeholders with advanced insights to shape priorities and ensure smarter decision making across the business.

Some of the role responsibilities:

  • Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights that directly influence business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with relevant stakeholders to understand their business needs and capture their analytical requirements
  • Build intuitive dashboards and visualisations through bespoke analysis to assist in efficient decision making
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine-learning techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and resource allocation
  • Identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and improved productivity across the enterprise

Some of the skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a data science, analytics or business intelligence role
  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or another quantitative discipline or equivalent demonstratable work experience
  • Strong Power BI capability (DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot)
  • Experience with modelling languages such as python or R
  • Proficiency in SQL for large-scale data extraction and transformation.
  • Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
  • High level written and verbal communication
