The Role

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level) to join our Analytics team. You’ll design, develop and operate machine learning solutions that support real clinical and operational cases across I-MED.

Working alongside Senior ML Engineers, Data Scientists and Clinical stakeholders, you’ll contribute across the full ML lifecycle, from model development through to production deployment in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop, train and evaluate machine learning models
  • Deploy models into scalable, production-grade services
  • Contribute to batch and/or streaming ML systems
  • Integrate ML services with enterprise and clinical platforms via APIs
  • Implement monitoring, logging, testing and alerting
  • Support model lifecycle activities including versioning and retraining
  • Collaborate in Agile teams with Data, Engineering, Product and Clinical partners

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in software engineering with applied machine learning
  • Strong understanding of ML fundamentals, feature engineering and evaluation
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating ML models in production
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and Linux
  • Experience with batch or streaming ML systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Highly desirable:

  • ML Ops or ML engineering practices
  • Docker and containerised workloads
  • Cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Streaming or near real-time data pipelines
  • Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance)
  • Exposure to Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, agent workflows)
  • REST/gRPC services or Kubernetes experience
