As a Finance Partner, you will join the Digital, Data and AI (DD&AI) Finance team that's focused on winning together.

In this Finance Partner role, you will

  • Support the newly appointed AI Executive to build out the AI function within the broader DD&AI team, including the Domain. Providing performance advice to the AI Executive as they look to navigate the Group's strategic ambition, delivering transformation / simplification for the organisation with measurable and sustained benefits. Being a conduit between the business, workforce planning, domain and/or procurement to enable and manage outcomes.
  • Deliver the reporting and insight oversight of Domain and project activities.
  • Support the production of half yearly and annual reporting requirements for by providing high quality commentary and meeting deadlines.
  • Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
  • Create insights to assist the business in understanding plan changes and options to meet plan.
  • Coaching and development of Senior Associates within the team to deliver the above for the business and grow commercial acumen, risk and control management and simplification capability of Finance team.

Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills where you can constructively challenge management's proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
  • Years of professional experience in finance/accounting, financial services, corporate reporting, risk reporting or data analytics.
  • Exceptional people leadership, ensuring the work environment is supportive and that our people have clarity and are developed to their potential.
  • Collaborate with peers to identify and leverage best practice to drive effectiveness uplift across the Finance partner team.
  • Experience in technology preferred with tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, CA/CPA.
  • Strong understanding of banking economics, business drivers and performance levers.
  • Previous experience in Data, Tech and AI recognised.
