Data, Analytics and AI (AiDA) team is seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive leadership in relation to data, insights, machine learning, and AI systems within ASIC.
The team
The Data, Analytics and AI (AiDA) team is essential for ASIC's transformation into a digitally enabled, data-informed regulator. The data science team within AiDA collaborates with business units to develop machine learning solutions, utilising the latest technologies to address regulatory and compliance challenges in surveillance and enforcement.
The role
As the Data Science Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the AiDA team, responsible for driving innovation through advanced analytics. This role oversees the delivery of analytical solutions leveraging ML and AI for ASIC, while providing leadership and guidance to the Data Science team.

They will combine advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support ASIC's regulatory objectives. With proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams, they will demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a deep understanding of financial services and markets and have a passion for innovation through emerging technologies.
