This is a strategic and delivery-focused leadership role for practitioners who operate across risk, technology, and product- ensuring AI is secure, compliant, and production-ready at enterprise scale. You will combine deep technical expertise (AI platforms, LLMs, cloud architecture) with strong governance and regulatory acumen, positioning NAB as a leader in responsible AI.

In the role of Head of AI Trust Products, you will join NAB's AI Centre of Excellence and lead the development of trusted AI capabilities across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmap for AI platform, risk, and security products, aligned to business value and regulatory requirements
• Partner with Business Units to prioritise and scale high-impact, trusted AI (GenAI) use cases
• Oversee end-to-end AI product lifecycle, leading cross-functional squads delivering secure, compliant solutions
• Define and govern AI platforms, architecture, and standards for responsible, production-grade deployment
• Influence senior stakeholders through clear risk-based insights while ensuring regulatory and ethical alignment
• Build and lead high-performing teams across product, engineering, and AI governance domains
• Champion a culture of responsible innovation through strong controls, testing, and continuous improvement
• Build strategic partnerships to strengthen AI risk, security, and platform capability

What You Bring

• Extensive experience (10+ years) delivering complex technology or transformation programs, ideally within financial services
• Proven leadership in AI/ML or platform initiatives, including AI risk, governance, or secure AI deployment
• Strong expertise in cloud-based AI architectures (Azure, AWS) and understanding of GenAI/LLM capabilities
• Deep experience operating in regulated environments with strong understanding of risk, compliance, and controls
• Ability to translate complex technical and risk concepts into clear executive-level insights
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale platforms or transformation outcomes with measurable impact
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability at senior levels
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Tertiary qualification required; postgraduate studies in AI, Data Science, or Computer Science preferred
