What can you expect?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with data experts and business stakeholders to analyze complex datasets, design data-driven solutions, and generate insights that fuel growth and innovation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Databricks, a strong foundation in Generative AI and traditional AI techniques, and the drive to push the boundaries of what's possible with data.

We will count on you to:

• Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to understand objectives and identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making.
• Design and implement advanced models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to unlock actionable insights from large datasets.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models in Databricks for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and other applications.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations, presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging AI and ML techniques, proactively applying them to business challenges.
• Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practice adoption.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering impactful, production-grade data science solutions.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and traditional AI, including deep learning, NLP, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a creative approach to solution design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative environments.

What makes you stand out?

• Hands-on experience using Databricks for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Ability to apply Generative AI and traditional AI techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) to communicate insights effectively.

Things that will make you really stand out (not essential, but highly valued):

• Real-world MLOps experience in Databricks, particularly in model registration and evaluation.
• Exposure to Anthropic's Model Context Protocol, Azure AI Agent Service, or Dapr.
• Experience building AI Agents and integrating them into reasoning models.
• Experience with AI platform engineering: implementing constraints, monitoring, automated testing, and governance at scale.
