In this newly created role of Data & AI Solutions Lead, you’ll play a pivotal technical leadership role in shaping, engineering, and governing the Data & AI platforms and solutions.

You will define the architecture, standards, and guardrails that keep our solutions scalable, secure, and future ready. You’ll also lead the design and delivery of modern, reusable cloud-based data and AI platform capabilities that accelerate delivery across product teams and ensure consistency, quality, and innovation across the organisation.

Your Impact in This Role:
•   Define, govern, and continuously enhance the architecture standards, design patterns, and guardrails for data management, analytics, and AI/GenAI platforms, ensuring strong alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategy.
•   Champion robust governance across data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and compliance.
•   Lead the design and engineering of scalable, reusable, cloud native Data & AI platforms and solutions, ensuring they support ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and AI/GenAI capabilities.
•   Architect modern data frameworks that enable consistent, high quality ingestion, storage, processing, and enterprise wide data use.
•   Embed DataOps and AIOps practices to uplift reliability, observability, automation, and delivery speed.
•   Ensure platform services are secure, observable, productised, and easy for product teams to consume, accelerating and simplifying their delivery work.
•   Champion innovation and emerging technologies, shaping roadmaps for Data & AI platforms and influencing future investment and capability uplift.
•   Provide technical thought leadership for enterprise Data & AI/GenAI capabilities, driving clarity, direction, and technical excellence.
•   Collaborate deeply across product, architecture, and cross functional teams, fostering alignment while uplifting data and AI literacy across the organisation.

Your Expertise:
You will be a collaborative technical leader with deep expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, AI/GenAI platforms, and enterprise‑scale delivery:
•   Extensive experience in data engineering, data architecture and AI technical leadership roles, with the ability to influence enterprise wide outcomes. 
•   Strong expertise and practical experience with cloud based Data & AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Snowflake and Kafka, with hands on delivery of modern data and AI platform engineering including ELT, streaming, distributed processing, and capabilities that support ML, GenAI and emerging Agentic AI. 
•   Experience applying DataOps and AIOps practices to uplift automation, observability, resilience and delivery speed across Data & AI platforms. 
•   Proficiency with data governance technologies, including catalogue, lineage, metadata and data quality frameworks. 
•   Strong data architecture and modelling skills, spanning ingestion (ELT/streaming), storage, processing and enterprise wide data frameworks. 
•   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline (mandatory).
