Macquarie Capital's Data Analytics team partners with a wide range of business teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions that support informed decision-making. Working within a global team led from Sydney, you will help develop analytics capabilities ranging from business intelligence and interactive dashboards to advanced quantitative models, with a growing focus on data science and artificial intelligence solutions.

What role will you play?

As an Analytics Solution Developer, you will design, build and deliver analytics and visualisation solutions from end to end, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate data into actionable insights. You will manage projects, automate data processes and develop interactive dashboards and analytical models that support business outcomes. You will also collaborate with colleagues across global teams, communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and contribute to the ongoing growth of the team's analytics capability.

What you offer

  • Practical experience with two or more of the following: SQL, Python or R; artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions; data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau; and cloud-based data platforms including AWS or Google Cloud
  • Experience delivering data analytics projects, managing stakeholder relationships and working effectively across multiple teams in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large and complex datasets and an understanding of data automation processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, alongside a positive approach to learning and a growth mindset within a global team environment
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field, with strong academic achievement and at least two years' experience in an analytics role.
