My client, an established leader in the EdTech and franchising space, is seeking a commercially minded Data Scientist to deliver accurate reporting, high-impact dashboards, and business-critical insights across all areas of the organisation—from student outcomes to financial performance.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, based in Sydney CBD, with 2–3 days per week in the office and flexibility for remote work.

�� About the Role

This mid-to-senior level, hands-on position plays a key role in executing the company’s data strategy within the CIO’s broader IT governance framework. You’ll operate with high autonomy and visibility across the business, turning complex data into actionable insights—without any people management responsibilities.

You’ll report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and collaborate with key teams across the business.

�� Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver accurate, executive-ready dashboards (Power BI).
• Lead reporting across student performance, marketing campaigns, financial metrics, and franchisee operations.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, Marketing, Product, Regional CEOs, and IT teams to ensure data alignment.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy standards.
• Support AI-readiness initiatives with structured, clean data pipelines.

��️ Tech Stack

• Power BI (essential) – primary dashboard tool.
• SQL – advanced querying and data modelling required.
• Data Sources: CRM, LMS, finance systems, marketing platforms, operational tools.
• Tableau experience is a plus.

✅ You Will Bring

• 7–10 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
• Strong expertise in Power BI and SQL.
• Commercial understanding of franchise operations and learning metrics.
• Ability to operate independently and deliver strategic insights.
• Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder business environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and data readiness for AI applications.

• Deliver 15+ fully operational dashboards.
• Achieve 95%+ data accuracy across key KPIs.
• Reduce manual reporting time by 60%+.
