About The Role

The General Manager, Data, AI & Analytics is accountable for establishing and leading HammondCare's enterprise‑wide data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and information management capability, ensuring data is treated as a strategic asset that supports safe, high‑quality care and long‑term organisational sustainability. This role sets the strategic vision, governance frameworks, operating model, and technology direction required to ensure HammondCare's data and information assets are trusted, secure, ethical, compliant, and value‑generating. Working in close partnership with clinical & operational, executive s, and technology leaders, the role translates strategy into practical capability uplift across data governance, analytics, AI enablement, and information stewardship. The General Manager enables hands on evidence based decision making, regulatory compliance, responsible use of AI, and measurable improvements in care outcomes and organisational performance, while building sustainable internal capability and reducing reliance on fragmented or ad‑hoc approaches to data and insight.

This is a permanent full-time role working at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

Key Outcomes

  • Lead and govern data and information across a complex, highly regulated care environment with multiple systems, providers, and stakeholders
  • Ensure trusted, high‑quality, secure, and accessible data, reporting, analytics, and insights across clinical, operational, and corporate domains
  • Embed strong data governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices as standard ways of working across the organisation
  • Balance innovation and advanced analytics with patient safety, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management
  • Drive cultural change to embed data‑led decision‑making across diverse professional, clinical, and operational groups

About you

  • At least 10 year's extensive senior leadership experience across data, analytics, AI, and/or information management in complex, regulated environments
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Data/Analytics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related discipline
  • Proven track record developing and delivering enterprise‑wide data and information strategies
  • Deep expertise in data governance, privacy, security, records management, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, specialist teams and deliver outcomes through influence and collaboration
  • Highly developed strategic thinking, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Postgraduate qualifications and/or relevant professional certifications desirable
