We are seeking a talent on AI/ML to join our Bigdata team. This role offers hands-on experience in developing advanced algorithms for Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) products.

You’ll work on innovative projects involving computer vision, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs) to tackle real-world challenges in identity verification and fraud detection.

This talent is ideal for Master/PhD students passionate about AI and eager to contribute to high-impact fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and optimize algorithms for KYC/KYB processes, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), face recognition, image quality assurance, and document tampering detection.
  • Apply traditional deep learning techniques to improve model accuracy and efficiency in image processing and analysis.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance algorithm capabilities, such as integrating multimodal AI for better document understanding and anomaly detection.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze data, and iterate on models to ensure robustness and scalability in production environments.
  • Assist in research and development of new features to strengthen Binance’s compliance and security frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Information Systems (IS), or a related field at a top university.
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • A big plus: Experience or coursework in computer vision, including techniques for image processing, object detection, or facial recognition.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and their applications in multimodal tasks is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Passion for blockchain, fintech, or AI ethics is a bonus.
