This is a strategic and delivery-focused leadership role for practitioners who operate across business and technology—balancing innovation with execution to deliver production-grade AI outcomes at enterprise scale. You will combine technical depth (AI platforms, LLMs, cloud architecture) with commercial acumen, ensuring AI is deployed safely, responsibly, and in alignment with regulatory expectations.

In the role of AI Products Leader, you will join NAB's AI Centre of Excellence and play a critical role in scaling AI adoption across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI strategy and roadmap aligned to business value
• Prioritise and scale high-impact AI use cases with Business Units
• Oversee end-to-end AI product delivery across cross-functional squads
• Deliver complex AI programs across multiple streams and vendors
• Define and govern scalable, secure AI architecture and platforms
• Influence senior stakeholders and ensure risk and regulatory alignment
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across AI, product, and engineering

What You Bring

• Extensive experience (10+ years) delivering complex technology or transformation programs, ideally within financial services
• Proven leadership in AI/ML initiatives, including experience designing or implementing AI platforms or data transformation programs
• Strong expertise in cloud-based AI architectures (Azure, AWS) and understanding of modern AI capabilities (including GenAI)
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, strategic insights for senior stakeholders
• Experience operating in highly regulated environments, with strong understanding of risk and governance requirements
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale technology outcomes with measurable business impact
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence at executive level
• Strategic mindset with a "test and learn" approach and strong analytical decision-making capability
• Tertiary qualification required; postgraduate studies in AI, Data Science, or Computer Science preferred
