ABOUT THE ROLE:

Bass Coast Shire Council is seeking an Innovation and AI Enablement Lead to drive meaningful organisational change through digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the General Manager Innovation and Engagement, this role will lead the development and implementation of Council’s AI Enablement Program and innovation roadmap. You will work collaboratively across the organisation to identify opportunities, pilot new solutions, and embed practices that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and community outcomes.

This is a non-managerial leadership role that relies on influence, facilitation, and strong stakeholder engagement to build capability and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 

A BIT ABOUT YOU:

You are an experienced innovation or transformation professional with a passion for driving change in complex environments. You excel at engaging stakeholders and translating complex ideas into practical outcomes. You bring experience in innovation, digital transformation or service improvement, along with strong change management capability and a sound understanding of AI and emerging technologies.
