About the role
As the Manager – AI Governance and Enablement, you will play a critical leadership role in establishing and embedding Parks Victoria's enterprise approach to artificial intelligence (AI). You will lead the development of governance frameworks, policies, and guardrails that ensure AI is adopted safely, ethically, and in line with government requirements.
Working across the organisation, you will design and operate an AI Centre of Excellence, providing oversight, guidance, and support for AI initiatives from concept through to delivery and business-as-usual integration. You will partner with senior leaders, business units, and external stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and deliver a portfolio of AI-enabled initiatives that improve productivity, service delivery, and operational performance.
This role provides a unique opportunity to influence how emerging technologies are applied in a complex, public sector environment.
About the Team
The Corporate Services Division, including the Information Technology Directorate, provides the enabling functions that support Parks Victoria's operations across its diverse estate. The team delivers technology solutions, enterprise architecture, and information management capabilities that underpin effective park management and organisational performance.
