This role focuses on researching, designing, and evolving the analytical methodologies that define how performance tools operate at scale. You will play a central role in shaping the logic, metrics, and analytical frameworks that underpin decision making and performance measurement across complex operational environments. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams and external partners to gather insights, test hypotheses, and translate real world needs into robust, scalable methodologies. Your work will influence how performance is defined, measured, and improved, ensuring tools are grounded in sound data science, practical applicability, and continuous improvement principles.

Beyond research and design, you will act as a subject matter expert in performance analytics. You will apply advanced analytical methods to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control performance outcomes. This includes supporting investigations into operational issues, contributing to tool and product enhancements, and providing analytical support to broader innovation and development initiatives.

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • Blend of research, applied data science, and real-world problem solving.
  • High level of influence, working with diverse stakeholders across engineering, operations, and product teams.
  • Exposure to complex, large-scale systems where analytical rigor has tangible business impact.

What you will do:

  • Research, design, and validate analytical methodologies that define how performance tools function.
  • Develop performance frameworks, metrics, and models that support consistent and reliable decision making.
  • Translate ambiguous business or operational problems into structured analytical approaches.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure methodologies remain relevant and effective.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of tools through experimentation, validation, and feedback loops.
  • Support broader initiatives with data analysis, modeling, and methodological guidance.

What skills you will have:

  • Data Science and Analytics: Strong foundation in applied math, statistics, data analysis, and analytical modeling.
  • Experience designing metrics, KPIs, and performance frameworks from first principles.
  • Problem Solving: Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to work across diverse topics such as coding, analysis, validation, technical documentation, and methodology design.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable influencing decisions through data and logic.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Curiosity driven, methodical, and focused on learning, iteration, and long-term impact.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in global, cross functional environments with multiple stakeholders and perspectives.
