What you’ll be doing

We are looking for Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex AI, data, integration and digital products for enterprise clients. This is not a traditional IT project management role. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, systems integration and business, owning delivery from early problem definition through to production deployment and scale. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and navigate the unique challenges of AI, Data & Integration delivery, including data dependency, experimentation cycles, and evolving solution scope.

The role of the Technical Project Manager is to take overall responsibility for total end to end project execution, including:

•    Own end-to-end delivery of AI, data, and automation solutions for enterprise clients
•    Lead cross-functional teams including: 
•    AI, Integration, Data engineers
•    Software engineers
•    ML engineers / data scientists
•    Product and UX
•    Translate business problems into structured, sequenced delivery plans
•    Manage: 
•    Scope, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
•    Delivery timelines and resourcing
•    Quality, technical debt, and production readiness
•    Run delivery across discovery, MVP, and scale phases

 

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI, data, and automation solutions for enterprise clients. Lead cross-functional teams including: 
    -    Data engineers
    -    ML engineers / data scientists
    -    Software engineers
    -    Product and UX
    •    Translate business problems into structured, sequenced delivery plans Manage: 
    -    Scope, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
    -    Delivery timelines and resourcing
    -    Quality, technical debt, and production readiness
  • Run delivery across discovery, MVP, and scale phases

Client & Stakeholder Leadership
Act as the day-to-day senior delivery lead for clients Lead: 
-    Steering committees
-    Executive updates
-    Planning and prioritisation sessions


•    Set and manage expectations around: 
-    AI feasibility and limitations
-    Iterative delivery and experimentation
-    Data readiness and quality risks
•    Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders

AI & Data Delivery Excellence
•    Lead delivery in environments involving: 
-    Data pipelines and data platforms
-    ML models and LLM-based systems
-    Evaluation, testing, and iteration cycles
-    MLOps / deployment workflows
-    Human-in-the-loop systems
-    Governance, security, and compliance constraints
•    Proactively manage the realities of AI delivery: 
-    Non-deterministic outputs
-    Data quality and availability risks
-    Model performance trade-offs (accuracy, latency, cost)
-    Ongoing monitoring and iteration post-launch

Commercial & Outcome Ownership
•    Own delivery financials including: 
-    Resourcing and phasing
-    Margin and burn management
•    Balance: 
-    Speed vs quality
-    Scope vs impact
-    Experimentation vs delivery certainty
•    Drive solutions towards: 
-    Adoption
-    Measurable business impact
-    Scalable production outcomes

What will make you succesful?

The position requires a highly motivated individual who can provide strong application skills, along with leadership, guidance and coaching abilities, to deliver quality focused outcomes.

•    8–12+ years in technical project, program, or delivery management
•    Proven experience delivering complex digital, integration, data, or AI-enabled systems
•    Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams
•    Strong client-facing experience in consulting or enterprise environments
•    Comfortable operating in environments with: 
-    Ambiguous scope
-    Evolving requirements
-    High technical complexity
-    Data and platform dependencies

Strongly Preferred
•    Experience delivering one or more of: 
-    AI / ML products
-    Data platforms
-    Decisioning or automation systems
-    LLM-powered or analytics-heavy systems

•    Strong understanding of: 
-    Modern data architectures
-    Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
-    Boomi, webMethods, Workato, Mule or Azure system integrations and APIs.
-    The ML / AI product lifecycle
•    Background in consulting, product-led SaaS, or large-scale transformation programs.
