The team

Reporting to Associate Professor Xin Yu, this role sits within the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML). With over 200 members, the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) is the largest university‑based machine learning research group in Australia and the country's first institute dedicated to advancing machine learning, computer vision, deep learning and artificial intelligence. Established in 2018 and based at Lot Fourteen in Adelaide, AIML is globally recognised for research excellence and real‑world impact, collaborating with leading industry and government partners to apply cutting‑edge discoveries to challenges in sectors such as defence, space, healthcare, infrastructure and agritech.
