Who We Are:

Spawnpoint Media is at the forefront of digital entertainment, creating family-friendly gaming and live‑action content across YouTube and connected platforms. We're obsessed with creating content that keeps the soul, love, joy, and personality of young people & families alive — while teaching positive social, creative, and academic skills and values. We move fast, we experiment, and we care deeply about quality, safety, and impact.

Who You Are:

You're a hands-on AI Systems Engineer who loves turning real-world workflows into clean, reliable systems. You're equal parts builder and systems thinker — you can map a process, then ship an agent or automation that makes the process faster, easier, and more productive. You're comfortable writing code, integrating APIs, and you're excited about using OpenClaw as a core part of your automation toolkit.

The Opportunity:

You'll thrive here if you enjoy shipping practical AI that people actually use — not just prototypes. You'll work across business functions (finance, marketing, operations) and studio functions (ideas, scripts, research, clips, thumbnails, publishing, analytics) to build agentic systems that reduce manual work and unlock creative throughput.

This is a landmark position within our group, a greenfield opportunity to work closely with the executive team and department heads to create a legacy product that will continue to evolve.

Work that matters: you'll help build systems that give creators more time to create — and help families around the world learn and smile.

Your Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Agentic Systems Delivery: Design, build, and deploy AI agents that can plan, use tools, and execute workflows with appropriate human approvals and auditability.
  • Workflow & Process Design: Identify bottlenecks, map current-state processes, and redesign them into AI-first workflows with measurable outcomes.
  • OpenClaw (Or Similar) Expertise: Build, maintain, and scale workflow automations in OpenClaw — creating reusable templates and standards the whole company can adopt.
  • Integration Engineering: Connect agents and automations to business and creator tooling using APIs, webhooks, data stores, and secure credentials management.
  • Reliability & Observability: Add monitoring, logging, alerting, retries, and fallbacks so production automations are dependable.
  • Quality & Evaluation: Build test harnesses and evaluation methods for LLM outputs (style adherence, accuracy, brand voice, kid-safety compliance) and keep performance improving over time.
  • Communication & Enablement: Explain systems simply, document clearly, and coach teams so adoption sticks.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a curious, adaptable & systems oriented person who gets a creative kick out of solving problems with the latest up-to-the-moment AI knowledge and technology.

You are likely someone who has -

  • Demonstrated ability to use OpenClaw (or similar) to build and manage workflow automations (this is required).
  • Strong coding ability (e.g., Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript) and confidence working with APIs, data formats (JSON/CSV), and basic cloud tooling.
  • Proven experience building AI-powered automations or agentic workflows in production (not just experimenting).
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with non-technical teams and translating real business needs into shipped systems.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a 'ship + iterate' mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with YouTube creator workflows (research, scripts, thumbnails, publishing, analytics) and an appreciation for kid-friendly brand safety requirements.
  • Experience with orchestration frameworks, RAG/knowledge bases, vector search, or evaluation tooling for LLM systems.
  • Experience with automation platforms (Zapier/Make/n8n/Power Platform/RPA) and strong opinions about what scales (and what doesn't).

Spawnpoint Media Benefits:

  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Opportunities for extensive training, experimentation, and career progression as AI becomes core to how we operate.
  • Flexible work arrangements in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Our Offer:

Join Spawnpoint Media and help build the next generation of AI-powered studio operations. You'll have autonomy, real problems to solve, and a team that moves quickly and supports each other. If you're excited to build agents that do real work — and to do it in a family-friendly, values-led media company — we'd love to meet you.
