At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

  • You will write clean Python code, build lightweight data pipelines, and turn data into clear insights.
  • You will use modern development approaches, including machine-assisted techniques, to refine solutions.
  • You will bring curiosity and a problem-solving mindset to complex challenges, delivering pragmatic outcomes with risk-adjusted quality and a strong commitment to excellence—while continuing to learn and apply your skills in a real-world environment.

What you offer

  • 4–5+ years of experience in a quantitative, analytical, or data-focused role across any sector
  • Strong Python skills, with the ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code
  • Practical SQL skills, with confidence working across datasets (without requiring expert-level depth)
  • A numerate background in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality outcomes pragmatically.
