The Role:

This role is responsible for leading the platforms and integration teams. The platforms team is responsible for cloud services along with other support sub systems including identity management, service management, content management and artificial intelligence (AI) platforms. The integration team is responsible for internal and external integration services along with the operational data store and public facing web services. You will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Design authority for technology and integration platforms including governance and oversight of the implementation.

  • Manage risk controls including cyber security controls across technology platforms.

  • Proactively manage agreed ICT system performance including uptime and response time is achieved.

  • Define and manage proactive monitoring and performance assurance of Plan SA services.

  • Define and design technological solutions to assist the business in meeting their business outcomes.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams with responsibilities for overall technology architecture of an end-to-end system / platform

  • Technical expertise in system integrations, and API management,

  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and lead technical projects independently.

  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to engage and motivate an Agile team and foster a collaborative, productive and supportive workplace culture

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team and implement change in a complex environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing delivery and support of technology platforms and integration services.

Desirable Qualification:
Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field (e.g computer science, Information Technology or engineering).

Special Conditions
Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.

Remuneration:
MAS3  - $127,859 max.
