Job Description

This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne 

The Senior Manager,Solution Consulting Platform AI & Data leads the AI pre-sales operating model, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of AI Architects and AI Engineers responsible for designing and delivering customer-ready POCs, accelerators, and technical assets that drive revenue and adoption of Now Assist, AI Agents, App Engine, Workflow Data Fabric, and RaptorDB.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Build, lead, and scale the AI Foundry team (Architects + Engineers) to deliver high-quality, high-velocity POCs across the Platform, AI and Data portfolio.
  • Operationalise our POC-led AI presales motion, defining processes, intake mechanisms, prioritisation criteria, and delivery standards for the region.
  • Oversee the design and execution of technical POCs, ensuring architectural quality, feasibility, and alignment with customers’ AI and data landscapes.
  • Mentor and grow AI Architects and Engineers, maturing both pre-sales skills and hands-on technical capability.
  • Partner with sales leadership to shape and back large Platform + AI programs with strong architectural guidance.
  • Champion innovation by identifying emerging AI patterns and bringing them into repeatable pre-sales motions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 10+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, workflow automation, or enterprise platform leadership.
  • Proven leadership of high-performing technical teams within complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML fundamentals (LLMs, agentic automation, vector search, governance, data pipelines).
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Platform: Now Assist, AI Agents, App Engine, IntegrationHub, Workflow Data Fabric, RaptorDB.
  • Strong executive communication skills, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and credibility in C-level conversations.
  • Experience operating in ambiguous, high-growth environments with the ability to build net-new processes and operating models.
  • CSA and CAD required; advanced certs (CTA, CMA, AI-related certifications) preferred.

  • Influence on strategic AI pursuits and technical win rate.
  • POC/POV effectiveness and efficiency in close rates.
  • Reusability and scalability of delivered architectures.
  • Effective scaling of the AI Foundry team and uplift in team capability.
  • Now Assist adoption rates across region.
