About the role
We have an opportunity for a Manager - Artificial Intelligence Centre to be part of our Technology & Communication Services Command team. The Manager - Artificial Intelligence Centre leads the cross functional review and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) risk assessments, to ensure safe and responsible usage of AI within NSWPF, in accordance with the AI Assurance Framework (AIAF), engaging with business and technology stakeholders to ensure risk assessments consider the business value and outcomes of using AI technologies, balanced against the business and technology related risks.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of AI in the NSW Police Force. As the Manager of the Artificial Intelligence Centre, you will have scope to build NSWPF’s AI governance capability from the ground up. Working with various external and internal stakeholders, including State Intelligence Command, you will lead strategic initiatives, influence organisation-wide decisions, and drive the ethical, safe, and innovative use of emerging technologies.
