About the Role

As the Workfront Automation Senior Specialist you will sit in Digital Foundations team delivering new capability to drive efficiency across our content workflows. Your primary goal is to transform manual workflows into streamlined, automated "agentic" processes that reduce friction and increase organizational velocity.

  • The role will be responsible for the architecture, development, and maintenance of the Adobe Workfront ecosystem and its integration with AI-driven automation agents. This role focuses on leveraging Workfront Fusion and modern Agentic AI frameworks to ensure data flows seamlessly between systems and that repetitive tasks are handled by autonomous agents.

What You'll Do

  • System Architecture – Understand the scalable Workfront object models (Custom Forms, Project Templates, Programs) to support automation.
  • Workflow Automation - Build and maintain complex scenarios in Workfront Fusion (make.com) to connect to Workfront workflows
  • Agent Development - Develop and deploy AI agents/bots that can be added to the workflows to drive efficiency and quality.
  • API Integration - Write custom scripts and utilize Workfront's REST API to perform bulk updates or specialized data migrations.
  • Governance & QA - Establish error-handling protocols for automations to ensure data integrity and prevent "looping" or system crashes.

About You

You will bring these skills and experiences to successful in the role:

  • Platform Expertise: Mastery of Adobe Workfront (system admin level) and Workfront Fusion.
  • Coding & Scripting: Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for custom API calls and data transformation.
  • Integration Logic: Deep understanding of Webhooks, JSON, OAuth2, and RESTful API structures.
  • AI/Automation: Experience with LLM orchestration (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API) to build agents that interact with project metadata.
  • Data Architecture: Ability to map complex data relationships between disparate SaaS platforms.

  • The "Translator" Ability: Can listen to a non-technical Project Manager's pain points and translate them into a technical workflow.
