About Reece

The Reece name is probably best known for plumbing. But we’re much more than that. We're radically transforming our business through innovative digital solutions, and we are currently searching for an experienced AI Engineer to help us do that.

About the role

As part of reecetech, you’ll join a 200+ strong team that handles everything from Product Management and Engineering to Data and AI. You’ll be crafting next generation digital tools that solve real customers problems and support our people to work more effectively.

Step into a future-focused environment where innovation meets impact. We’re building on a strong foundation in AWS and Databricks, powering advanced data engineering and analytics across the business.

We’re rapidly developing our AI footprint with tools like Amazon Bedrock/Neptune, Databricks, Airia, and more - driving our investment in generative AI and intelligent automation.

Our vision? A composite AI ecosystem that blends machine learning, GenAI, embedded intelligence, and everyday AI to create smarter, more intuitive experiences for our customers and teams.

This is your chance to help lay the foundations and deliver real-world impact from day one, as an AI Engineer.

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to solve real-world business problems across the Reece ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement machine learning algorithms for tasks such as forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendation systems, and NLP.
  • Contribute to the development of AI best practices, frameworks, and reusable components.
  • Support the ethical and responsible use of AI, ensuring transparency, fairness, and compliance with data governance standards.

About you

The skills and experience that would fit well in this role are:

  • Experience in developing and deploying machine learning and AI models
  • Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD for ML).
  • Hands-on experience with LLM and agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, ADK)
  • Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP, Snowflake).
  • Experience working with Amazon Bedrock, Databricks, Kubernetes or n8n would be favourable.
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions with measurable impact.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a growth mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Happy to challenge established ways of doing business to ensure that we continue to improve and evolve our ways of working
