About the Program.

Next Wave is designed for early-career engineers who are ready to kick-start a long-term career in tech. This is permanent employment from day one, with extra support to help you succeed.

You’ll gain:

• Training in modern tools such as AI and AWS 
• Hands-on project work, building real digital platforms used by millions
• Mentorship and peer support from experienced engineers
• Opportunities to explore different tech streams – frontend, backend, cloud, cyber, or data – as you discover your strengths

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related (completed 2023–2025)
• 1 – 4  years’ experience in one or more of: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, C#, SQL, AWS, Cloud
• Strong communication, curiosity, and eagerness to learn
• Based in the Gold Coast / South Brisbane area, or willing to relocate
