About Us

Social Pinpoint is a global leader in digital engagement solutions, empowering governments and organisations to connect with communities in meaningful ways. Our Social Pinpoint and Consultation Manager platforms are trusted internationally to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative community engagement and stakeholder management experiences.

Your Role

We’re seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and ship AI‑powered features across Social Pinpoint and Consultation Manager. You will be the technical lead for AI, partnering with Product, Engineering and Design to turn real customer problems into reliable AI capabilities—primarily using Azure AI Foundry for model orchestration, evaluation, safety, and deployment. You’ll mentor engineers, set best practices, and own the technical implementation of an AI roadmap aligned to product outcomes.

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
  • Deep hands‑on experience building production features with LLMs and modern AI tooling; strong system design and data/ML integration skills.

  • Expertise with Azure AI Foundry (or Azure AI Studio): model orchestration, prompt flow/evaluation, vector search/RAG, content safety, and deployment.

  • Strong background in .NET/TypeScript or PHP application development and integration patterns desirable but not required, comfortable shipping AI into existing product surfaces.

Eligibility

You must be eligible to work in Australia full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own AI feature delivery from discovery to production: define technical approaches, success metrics, and rollout plans for AI capabilities embedded in existing product workflows (e.g., summarisation, classification, insights, guidance).

  • Build with Azure AI Foundry: orchestrate LLMs and multimodal services; design prompts/flows; integrate retrieval; implement content safety and evaluation; automate model lifecycle (experimentation → A/B → production).

  • Raise the bar: establish AI coding standards (prompt patterns, guardrails, telemetry), CI/CD for AI artefacts, and reproducible experiments; document decisions and trade‑offs.

  • Mentor and multiply: coach developers on AI design reviews, pair programming, and productionising prototypes.

  • Partner with product teams to translate customer needs into measurable AI outcomes; instrument usage, quality, and reliability; iterate based on data.

Job Benefits

Why Join Us?
  • Impactful Work: Shape the future of community engagement and stakeholder management technology and see your contributions make a real difference globally.

  • Flexibility: Hybrid and remote options available to support work-life balance.

  • Growth Opportunities: Clear pathways for technical leadership and architectural involvement.

  • Great Perks:

    • Industry leading parental leave options

    • Professional development reimbursement

    • Wellness allowance

    • Home office setup support

    • Paid birthday leave

    • Coffee tab at the local cafe

    • Generous (and always fully-stocked) snack station
