What you'll do

This role supports the eCommerce Fulfilment & Future Network Business Unit, focusing on Capacity & Demand initiatives. It will span both operational aspects of fulfilment (such as order orchestration) and strategic network evolution (including building and uplifting capacity models, demand prediction models, and bridging unified order management system with bespoke optimization solutions). You will partner closely with the business to help support decision making and drive delivery.

Principal responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering clear, concise, and comprehensive presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to facilitate the productionization of work streams.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to help design, implement and execute solutions to help shape and support their strategy.
  • Engage in coordination and collaboration with broader data science teams, and provide mentorship to more junior team members.

What you'll bring

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • 3+ years of practical experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on developing models using supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms;
  • Experience in Operations Research is a plus
  • Strong statistical and mathematical foundation, with experience in experimental design or A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and power analysis.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps, including CI/CD, Git operations, model productionization, and building production pipelines.
  • Commercial mindset and business acumen
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
