Job Summary:

The AI Enablement Lead is responsible for driving the safe, effective, and value-driven adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, Technology Solutions, this role plays a critical part in enabling business teams to identify, evaluate, and implement AI opportunities that drive material operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, strengthen compliance, and support data-informed decision-making within a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities:

AI Awareness and Advocacy

  • Promote understanding of AI technologies — including automation, data analytics, and generative AI — across all business units.
  • Communicate the benefits, limitations, and responsible use of AI through briefings, case studies, and internal campaigns.
  • Champion an ethical, secure, and human-centred approach to AI adoption consistent with financial industry standards and organisational values.
  • Ensure compliance against HUB24’s Group Policies and Guidelines, Governance Frameworks and Risk Taxonomy.

2. Opportunity Identification

  • Partner with the business to identify opportunities where AI can streamline processes, improve accuracy, drive material improvements in efficiency or enhance customer outcomes.
  • Develop business cases or pilot proposals with clear value metrics, ROI, and risk considerations.

3. Enablement and Support

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build AI literacy and confidence among employees at all levels.
  • Support teams in trialling AI tools and assist in embedding successful solutions into day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate with internal IT, data, and compliance teams to ensure all AI initiatives align with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

4. Governance and Best Practice

  • Contribute to the development of the organisation’s AI framework, policies, and standards, ensuring consistency with APRA, ASIC, and privacy obligations.
  • Monitor and communicate industry developments, ensuring the organisation remains proactive in managing AI-related risks.
  • Track and report on AI adoption metrics, learnings, and business impact to senior leadership.

5. Collaboration and Leadership

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal AI-related queries, projects, and training.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages experimentation and knowledge sharing across business units.
  • Engage with external experts, partners, and vendors to stay informed about best practices and new opportunities in financial services AI.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and their business applications in financial services (e.g., automation, natural language processing, predictive analytics).
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams and levels of seniority.
  • Proven experience driving technology adoption, process innovation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Awareness of financial services regulations, data governance, and compliance frameworks.

Desirable:

  • Experience in risk, compliance, or operations roles within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of available AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-powered workflow automation platforms.
  • Background in change management, business analysis, or innovation leadership.

Success Measures

  • Demonstrated increase in AI literacy and adoption across business units.
  • Successful delivery of AI-enabled improvements with measurable efficiency, accuracy, or customer experience gains.
  • Positive stakeholder engagement and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Establishment of an AI community of practice and consistent governance framework for responsible AI use.
