Position Overview

Synechron Sydney is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design and deploy agentic AI applications within the organizations environment.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of agentic AI frameworks,guardrails,token limitations,and AI application lifecycle management.While prior production-ready AI deployment experience is not mandatory,the candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of how AI applications work and be able to integrate them into enterprise-grade platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Agentic AI Development
• Build and prototype agentic AI applications using Python.
• Implement frameworks for autonomous agents,orchestration,and decision-making.
• Apply guardrails to ensure safe,ethical,and compliant AI behavior.
• Platform Deployment
• Deploy AI applications in organization's environment.
• Leverage AWS services(Lambda,S3,EC2,SageMaker,DynamoDB,CloudFormation)for scalable deployment.
• AI Application Lifecycle
• Manage token limitations,context windows,and prompt optimization.
• Integrate monitoring and logging for AI agent performance.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with architects,data scientists,and engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance on AI frameworks and deployment strategies.
• Innovation
• Explore emerging agentic AI frameworks and tools.
• Contribute to best practices for AI application design and governance.

Required Skills&Experience

• Strong programming skills in Python with AI/ML libraries(LangChain,LlamaIndex,Hugging Face).
• Understanding of agentic AI frameworks,guardrails,and token management.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS cloud(Lambda,SageMaker,EC2,S3,DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture,APIs,and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of AI safety,compliance,and governance principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
