About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist at Mable, you'll leverage your expertise in data science to help us continue to improve the services we provide to our customers. You'll be responsible for researching, improving, and developing machine learning models and utilising generative AI solutions to optimise external and internal customer-facing tools and processes. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, strategic thinking, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will be at the heart of a fast-paced, high growth environment where you will help drive real-world impact.

What else would make a difference?

• Knowledge and experience in two-sided marketplaces
• Knowledge and experience of the care industry including both aged care and disability care
• Experience and/or knowledge in probabilistic machine learning models, enhancing prediction accuracy and uncertainty estimation.
• Experience and/or knowledge in deep learning models, leveraging neural networks to conquer complex prediction tasks and high-dimensional data.
• Proficiency in working with unstructured data, particularly text.
• Proficiency with data/analytics platforms such as Databricks and AWS.
• Previous experience in A/B test design and feature effectiveness analysis.
