As Executive Manager, Operational Intelligence (IO10X) you will drive IAG's transformation to Intelligent Operations, ensuring technology services are resilient, high-performing, customer-focused and aligned with regulatory expectations. Leading the evolution of Service Management through the IO10X strategy, you will bring together AI, automation, observability, reliability engineering and operational resilience to create a more predictive and data-driven operating model. You will oversee enterprise-wide service performance, resilience and governance while leading a multidisciplinary team across key capability pillars. With responsibility for strategic investment, executive stakeholder engagement and organisational change, you will shape the future of technology operations across one of Australia's leading insurers.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne).

What You'll Do

• Lead IAG's Intelligent Operations transformation, driving the evolution of Service Management through the IO10X strategy and delivering measurable business value through AI, automation and data-driven operations.
• Own enterprise service reliability and performance, ensuring technology services are resilient, customer-focused, secure and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Build and lead capabilities across Intelligent Operations & AI, Observability & Telemetry Engineering, Reliability & Service Management, and Operational Resilience & Disaster Recovery.
• Establish enterprise standards, governance and operating models that enable consistent service delivery, reliability engineering, operational excellence and continuous improvement across technology teams.
• Drive operational resilience and disaster recovery readiness, ensuring critical services can be recovered effectively and that IAG meets APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234 obligations.
• Influence executives and stakeholders across the organisation, leading large-scale transformation, capability uplift, strategic investment decisions and adoption of new ways of working.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience leading modern IT operations uplift using SRE-aligned practices, full-stack observability, AIOps/automation, and resilience engineering in a complex or regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to define, plan and shape strategies and initiatives into tactical plans for successful delivery.
• Demonstrated ability in managing complexity and ambiguity and responding to change.
• Experience in fostering a customer-centric environment.
• Experience with creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of working.
