Senior Software Engineer (Health-Tech) — Remote AU

We’re helping a mission-driven health-tech scale-up that’s quietly changing how clinical research happens. Their platform connects real patient data — EMR, imaging, AI — so clinicians can match people with life-changing clinical trials faster and more accurately.

You’ll be joining a smart, humble, collaborative team that values curiosity and progress over ego and polish. You’ll take the reins on integrations, back-end development, and DevOps, shaping how their product connects with the health systems that need it most.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and clinical/imaging/AI systems (HL7, FHIR, DICOM — if you know, you know).
• Develop clean, reliable .NET / C# services and APIs that make complex healthcare data actually talk to each other.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker) so the team can ship faster and safer.
• Collaborate with Product and Data Science to prioritise what actually matters to clinicians and patients.
• Raise the engineering bar — through mentorship, smart automation, and solid design thinking.

You’ll need

• Proven experience in .NET / C# backend development.
• Exposure to Azure cloud, containerisation, and modern CI/CD automation.
• Experience building integrations (bonus points for healthcare, FHIR, HL7, or other regulated systems).
• An eye for maintainability, security, and simplicity — not over-engineering.
• A collaborative style and strong communication skills — you build relationships, not walls.
