Seeing Machines has developed the world’s most advanced human data-driven technology which enhances transport safety by dramatically reducing fatal accidents every day. We’re on a mission to achieve zero transport fatalities.

With at least 2 million cars on the road using our state-of-the-art operator monitoring technology developed by the passionate team at Seeing Machines, we provide real-time protection from distraction and drowsiness-related driving events.

About the Role

Are you someone who enjoys working independently, staying focused, and getting the job done? As a Guardian Centre Agent, you'll play a key role in keeping roads safer by reviewing and classifying driver events like fatigue and distraction. This role is perfect for someone who likes structure, enjoys problem-solving, and prefers a no-fuss work environment where you can simply focus on the task at hand.

You'll be part of a supportive team, working in a high-tech, fast-paced environment at our Guardian Centre in Melbourne. We’ll provide clear guidelines, full training, and a workplace where reliability and accuracy matter—so if you like knowing exactly what’s expected and delivering great work, this could be the job for you!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review and classify driver events (fatigue, distraction, and field of view).
  • Follow clear guidelines to make accurate decisions.
  • Log all information correctly to ensure a smooth process.
  • Make fatigue intervention calls when needed, following a set procedure.
  • Work independently—this is a role for someone who’s happy getting on with the job without needing constant supervision.

What We’re Looking For

  • A keen eye for detail—you’ll be assessing and classifying events accurately.
  • Confidence with technology—you’ll be using different systems and tools.
  • Self-motivation—if you like knowing what needs to be done and just cracking on, this is for you.
  • Someone who thrives in a structured role—if you enjoy routine and clear expectations, you’ll fit right in.
  • Previous experience in a contact centre, monitoring role, or quality control is a bonus but not required—we’ll train you!

What to Expect

  • 24/7 rotating shifts (including some nights and weekends).
  • Shifts between 8-12 hours to fit operational needs.
  • On-site role in Melbourne (Collins St)—sorry, no remote work.
  • A supportive and friendly team, but a job where you can focus without unnecessary distractions.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Straightforward work with a clear purpose—keeping roads safer!
  • Supportive team and full training provided.
  • No micromanagement—just do your job well, and you’re golden.
  • Plenty of career growth opportunities if you’re keen to progress.
