- 12 Month Assignment; possibilty of extension
- $800 Per day plus super

PERSOL is hiring a Digital Transformation and AI Governance Lead for a Government client to drive strategic initiatives across emerging technologies, automation, and digital governance.
Skills:
- Expertise in emerging technologies - particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and digital platforms.
- Expertise in developing and implementing digital transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks including NSW AI and NSW data governance, assurance, compliance, and ethical standards aligned with NSW Government policies.
- Experience in designing and implementing digital solutions that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Ability to lead education and awareness initiatives to build capability and literacy in AI and digital governance across diverse teams.
- Stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills including working with ICT, legal, privacy, procurement, and risk teams to ensure secure and compliant technology deployments.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Project coordination and assurance oversight including risk evaluation and benefit realisation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Support designing policies to address data quality, security, lifecycle management, and ethical use.
- Must have Microsoft services, Azure experience.
Qualifications: Tertiary degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline; certifications in digital, AI, or emerging technologies preferred
