The Role
- This is a hands-on role. We will expect the candidate to be building & deploying Machine learning and/or statistical models
- They will be in a stand-a-lone position of expertise within APAC. Other Data Scientists exist across the US & EU, so collaboration and trouble shooting support would be through managing multiple time zones in a virtual environment.
- They would need to be a self-starter, managing ambiguity with ease.
- There is no team supervision but they need to be a leader, championing the use of advanced analytics and looking for use cases to implement
- They also need to be a very effective communicator
- Remote working flexibility
Key Skills/Responsibilities
- Experience using Databricks
- Experience with coding languages using Spark and Python and SQL
- Experience using PowerBI
- Experience using Computer Vision (Machine Learning)
- Experience building Machine learning models
- Knowledge of advanced statistical & data mining techniques
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience with open-source web distributed processing system /application (Jupyter Notebook; Spark)


Salary:
$150K-160K + Super + 15% Bonus
