GRIT is seeking an AI Engineer for a leading construction modelling firm, to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions that drive measurable business results.
In this role, you’ll combine strong technical expertise with practical problem-solving to build intelligent, scalable systems using the latest technologies across Azure, AWS, and other AI platforms.
This is a hands-on, strategic opportunity—perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to shape how AI enhances products, operations, and decision-making within a dynamic, data-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and deploy AI and ML models to address business challenges such as predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and workflows for automation and decision support.
- Use Azure or AWS AI services to develop scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Identify and prioritise AI opportunities with cross-functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into practical, high-value AI solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI/ML tools, frameworks, and trends.
- Support MLOps best practices and ensure continuous optimisation of deployed models.
- Proven experience in AI/ML engineering within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services or AWS AI/ML stack.
- Working knowledge of Agentic AI and a background in software development (advantageous).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer are highly desirable.
