We are currently seeking applications for an Artificial Intelligence Lead (ASO8) to join the Office for Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Treasury and Finance for an initial period of 12 months, with the opportunity for extension.
Remuneration: ASO8 ($121,107 – $125,679 p.a.)
About the opportunity:
This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to lead the practical application of artificial intelligence across the South Australian Government.
Reporting to the Director, Office for Artificial Intelligence, this role is responsible for providing authoritative advice on the selection, design and deployment of AI technologies, ensuring they are applied ethically, transparently and effectively to deliver public value. You will lead the delivery and assurance of AI initiatives and support agencies in practical application and operational readiness. You will also be a key contributor to the $28 million AI Proof of Value Programme, which funds projects that have the potential to demonstrate the real-world benefits of AI in improving service delivery, reducing costs and enhancing frontline outcomes.
