AI & Architecture Governance Lead – Shape Ethical AI and Enterprise Architecture

About the role

This is a full-time opportunity based in Brisbane, with flexible work arrangements including up to two days working from home. The role provides strategic governance for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ICT Architecture, ensuring technology decisions are ethical, transparent, secure and aligned to enterprise strategy.

Key activities include:

  • Leading and continuously improving the AI Governance Framework, including risk, ethics and decision-making processes
  • Providing expert advice to senior leaders on AI opportunities, risks and emerging regulatory expectations
  • Governing ICT architecture submissions to ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture principles and technology strategy
  • Facilitating architecture governance forums, reviewing proposals, and maintaining architecture governance and AI governance artefacts
  • Monitoring emerging AI and technology trends to strengthen governance practices over time

About you

  • Experience leading or contributing to AI, technology or architecture governance functions
  • A strong understanding of ethical technology practices and business risk
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with enterprise or solution architecture in large organisations
  • A relevant degree at bachelor or postgraduate level (TOGAF certification is desirable)
