The Head of Digital & AI is a newly created, high-impact leadership role sitting at the intersection of internal transformation and client-facing advisory. You will be the driving force behind how we harness AI to operate smarter, deliver more value to clients, and build new capability - both inside our business and across the clients we work with.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role from day one, with a clear mandate to grow a practice and team beneath you as the function matures.

- Define the roadmap for AI adoption, prioritising initiatives by business value, feasibility, and strategic fit.
- Measure and report on adoption metrics, efficiency gains, and ROI across deployed AI initiatives.
- Champion a culture of AI-first thinking across operations, service delivery, and support functions.
- Work cross-functionally with department heads to identify, pilot, and scale AI use cases.
- Govern the responsible and secure use of AI tools in line with company policy and risk appetite.
Client AI Strategy & Advisory
- Lead AI strategy consulting engagements with clients, acting as a trusted executive advisor on their AI journey.
- Conduct executive-level workshops and briefings to help clients identify where AI can create meaningful business value.
- Develop repeatable frameworks, assessments, and playbooks for client AI strategy engagements.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify and progress AI advisory opportunities.
- Represent the company as a thought leader in AI — contributing to proposals, events, and market positioning.
Strategy, Thought Leadership & Team Building
- Develop and maintain the company's overarching Digital Experience & AI Strategy, keeping it current with market trends and emerging capability.
- Build and articulate a compelling vision for how digital and AI capability differentiates our MSP offering.
- Mentor and develop talent across the business with an interest in digital and AI disciplines
Experience
- 10+ years in technology strategy, consulting, or digital transformation roles.

- Hands-on experience in or leading software / application development — either in-house or in a consulting/agency setting.
- Experience engaging C-suite and executive stakeholders, both internally and as clients.
- Background in managed services, IT consulting, or professional services highly regarded.
Skills & Capabilities

- Ability to translate complex AI and technology concepts into clear, business-relevant language.
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused: comfortable operating without a team or established playbook.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: energised by building something new from the ground up.
Knowledge
- Deep familiarity with the current AI landscape: LLMs, agentic AI, automation platforms, AI-assisted development tools.
- Understanding of MSP business models, service delivery, and the IT landscape of mid-market organisations.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, cloud-native).
