At IAG, we're ready for you. We're the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. Our family of brands turns the IAG purpose of making your world a safer place into action by helping everyday Aussies and New Zealanders, supporting their ambitions and making insurance accessible.

As Executive Manager, Operational Resilience & IO10X, you'll lead one of IAG's most ambitious technology transformations—reshaping how we operate, observe and recover our digital estate at scale. This role goes far beyond traditional IT service management. You'll drive the evolution to agent‑driven, AI‑enabled operations, SRE‑led practices and telemetry‑first observability across a hybrid multi‑cloud environment. With strong organisational backing and major investments underway, this role offers the opportunity to radically simplify complexity, eliminate silos and redefine how resilience, reliability and operational insight are delivered across the enterprise.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne).

What You'll Do

  • Lead IO10X strategy, transforming operations into predictive, automated and resilient digital services.
  • Own enterprise ITSM, major incident, change and operational resilience models.
  • Drive end‑to‑end observability and AIOps across platforms using telemetry‑first principles.
  • Shape the future operating model for ServiceNow, SRE and production services.
  • Lead vendor and managed service providers to open telemetry and modern ops standards.
  • Embed resilience engineering, DR readiness and APRA CPS 230 / CPS 234 alignment.
  • Build and lead high‑performing teams across operations, observability and reliability.

What You'll Bring

  • Senior technology leader experienced in transforming modern operations at scale
  • Strong background in SRE, observability, AIOps and automation in complex environments
  • Proven ability to rethink traditional ITSM and service operating models beyond ticketing
  • Hands‑on experience with hybrid, multi‑cloud platforms and modern software‑defined ops
  • Comfortable working with AI, agentic systems and autonomous operations concepts
  • Strong stakeholder influence across technology, business and executive leadership
  • Commercial and vendor‑management expertise across large operational ecosystems

What We Offer

  • Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard.
  • 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what's important to you).
  • Work from home and many more flexibility options with myFlex.
  • Up to 50% off personal insurance, including home and motor insurance.
  • Partner discounts on private health insurance, tech & appliances, and many more.
  • Industry-leading 20 weeks paid parental leave.
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning, the award-winning IAG Academy, study assistance and secondment opportunities.
