AI Technical Business Analyst

Macquarie Group
Sydney, NSW
hybrid
Full Time / Permanent

Join our mission to build the most intelligent, customer-centric bank in Australia!

Driven by our AI first strategy, we're creating AI-native solutions and an AI-empowered workforce to deliver best-in-class experiences for over 2.2 million Australians. You will join our talented enterprise AI enablement team to build leading-edge solutions on our agentic AI ecosystem.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

As a Tech Business Analyst in the Enterprise AI Enablement team, you will sit at the heart of how we bring AI to life for the business. This is not a traditional BA role, you are an active AI builder. You will configure and deploy AI-powered features and agents directly to our internal teams, own them end-to-end, and make sure they are adopted and delivering real value.

You will sit between the business and engineering, where you deeply understand the operational problems our teams face, and you have the hands-on ability to solve them using our enterprise AI tooling and agents without needing a full engineering squad behind you.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in a product or applied technology role in an agile environment
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying AI features or agents where you are an active builder
  • Strong product thinking where you translate complex business problems into clear, testable AI solutions
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to conduct user testing and validate that solutions solve real problems
  • Hands-on familiarity with enterprise AI tools and agentic platforms
  • Experience writing, testing, and iterating on agent prompts to produce reliable, production-quality outputs
  • Scope problems that exceed low/no-code configuration and brief core engineering teams effectively
  • Experience owning the full adoption lifecycle: go-to-market planning, user education, and change management
  • Ability to operate within enterprise guardrails and governance frameworks, particularly in a regulated financial services environment.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
