About the Role
We're looking for a specialist who sits at the intersection of data visualisation, analytics, and AI. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight, or alternatively deep capability in prompt engineering and working with AI-driven analytics and insights.
You'll play a key role in helping teams turn complex data into clear, actionable insights — whether that's through intuitive dashboards, embedded analytics, or AI-assisted querying and reporting.
This is not a generic BI role. We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, experimentation, and shaping how data and AI are actually used by the business.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and optimise Amazon QuickSight dashboards and reports for business and technical stakeholders
- Translate business questions into meaningful data visualisations or AI-driven insights
- Work closely with data engineers, product, and business teams to ensure analytics are accurate, scalable, and impactful
- Apply prompt engineering techniques (where relevant) to improve AI-assisted analysis, reporting, or decision-making
- Iterate quickly — testing, refining, and improving dashboards, prompts, or insights based on real user feedback
- Help uplift data literacy and adoption across teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Amazon QuickSight (dashboarding, datasets, SPICE, permissions, performance tuning), or
- Proven experience in prompt engineering, AI-assisted analytics, or working with LLMs in a data context
- Solid understanding of data concepts (SQL, metrics, data modelling, analytics workflows)
- Ability to explain complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Curious mindset — comfortable experimenting, learning, and improving how analytics or AI is used
Nice to Have
- Experience working in AWS-native environments
- Exposure to GenAI tools, embedded analytics, or self-serve BI platforms
- Background in consulting, product-led teams, or high-growth tech environments
Why Join?
- Work on modern data and AI-driven problems, not legacy reporting
- High autonomy and influence — your work will be visible and impactful
- Flexible working arrangements
- Opportunity to shape how analytics and AI are used across the organisation
