AI AND DATA PLATFORMS LEAD

THE TEAM
Our Data & Engineering team is a close-knit crew of technology experts, scattered across the country but united in purpose. We embrace a hybrid work model, allowing autonomy with the ability to unite for monumental projects when needed. Down-to-earth and collaborative, we're all about making things happen.
The AI and Data Platforms Lead position will work closely with amazing colleagues from across the entire organisation. Depending on the project, this role ensures platforms are strategically governed, effectively integrated, and consistently leveraged by internal teams. Working closely with the IT Manager, Platform Leads, and GPAP's Data & AI Governance Council, you'll lead the implementation of our AI Strategy, making sure every AI use case is transparent, ethical, and aligned with Greenpeace values.
THE ROLE
This is a pivotal enterprise technology leadership role focused on platform enablement and governance rather than bespoke analytics delivery, and accountable for delivering GPAP's AI Strategy and data governance capability.
You'll own and optimise GPAP's enterprise data and AI platforms, ensuring:
This role provides strategic leadership for organisational metrics and insights, including Board and Executive reporting, ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment to organisational strategy. This role does not operate as a centralised reporting function, but instead enables self-service insights through governed data and platforms. This role does not focus on building dashboards or bespoke analytics, but on enabling scalable, governed data and AI capabilities across the organisation.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
Annual full-time salary: $139,438.31 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
