What are you going to do
You'll work within a high-impact data and analytics team focused on improving reporting, data quality and operational decision-making through AI. A key part of this role is fine-tuning and optimising AI models, and integrating them into a modern cloud data platform built on Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and fine-tune LLM and AI solutions
- Build AI-driven workflows that enhance reporting and data processes
- Develop and maintain Python-based data and AI pipelines
- Write and optimise SQL on Snowflake
- Work with large, complex datasets to improve data quality and accessibility
- Collaborate with data, analytics and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities
- Contribute to best practices for AI governance, reliability and scalability
Essential skills and knowledge
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python development experience
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs / Generative AI
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake
- Experience building or fine-tuning AI/ML models in production environments
Ideal Experience
- Background as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or AI Engineer
- Experience deploying AI solutions into cloud environments
- Exposure to MLOps, prompt engineering or model optimisation
- Experience working with reporting, analytics or enterprise data platforms
- Experience in the mining or resources sector is highly regarded
