Let’s Talk About the Role

We are seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering rigour and innovation. In this role, you won’t just execute V&V activities—you’ll reimagine how they’re done, applying artificial intelligence and automation to transform processes, reduce complexity, and unlock new levels of efficiency and insight.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product verification in a regulated environment—ensuring safety and compliance while also driving smarter, faster, and more adaptive workflows. If you’re excited by the challenge of modernising traditional engineering practices, improving patient outcomes and create meaningful impact, this is the role for you.

Let’s Talk About Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Change Agent: Promote and embed a growth mindset in everything you do. Driving improved compliance, scalability, and overall V&V effectiveness.

  • Future-Proof Capabilities: Scout, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies to ensure V&V remains innovative and forward-looking.

  • Integrate Across Functions: Partner with other functions to implement tools that improve collaboration and system integration.

  • Guide Strategic Decision-Making: Using the power of data, AI and automation, deliver insights that optimise test focus, resource allocation, and early detection of risks or design gaps.

  • Own Process Innovation: Identify, design, and implement initiatives that streamline V&V activities, reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, compliance and effectiveness.

  • Lead AI-Driven V&V Transformation: Drive the integration of AI into verification and validation, advancing predictive testing, automation, and data-driven strategies.

  • Enhance Data & Automation Use: Champion advanced automation and analytics for robust requirements traceability, risk assessment, and defect detection.

  • Regulatory & Audit Leadership: Oversee the creation and validation of V&V documentation and justifications for regulatory submissions.

Let’s Talk About Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science.

  • 5+ years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, or related functions within a regulated industry, with demonstrated technical leadership in complex projects.

  • Proven track record applying AI and automation to engineering workflows—covering areas such as predictive analytics, automated decision support, testing automation or large-scale data integration.

  • Strong working knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Jira) and use of data science environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Jupyter).

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Substantial experience in medical devices or similarly regulated industries.

  • Demonstrated contributions to AI in regulatory, quality, or compliance contexts (e.g., AI-assisted documentation, automated coverage analysis, predictive risk management).
