A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Expert Data and AI Utilisation and Self-Service reporting to GM Data Demand and Fulfillment Management.
A bit about your role
The Senior Expert – Data & AI Utilisation & Self-Service is responsible for identifying business unit self-service data and AI requirements, enabling effective use of existing enterprise capabilities, and shaping solutions to address priority gaps. Working closely with internal teams and business stakeholders, the role translates business needs into practical outcomes through improved adoption of existing tools, clearer guardrails, and targeted capability uplift.
Acting as both Business Delivery Owner and, where required, Business Product Owner, the role leads the scoping, delivery, and adoption of select self-service capabilities. The position also drives the enterprise self-service strategy and capability roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, architecture, and emerging industry practices.
It partners with business units to prioritise and translate AI-driven and self-service opportunities into actionable initiatives, maintaining a holistic view of enterprise demand and capability. The role oversees end-to-end delivery of key uplift initiatives, including business case development and stakeholder engagement, while promoting adoption through targeted enablement, training, and continuous improvement. This ensures scalable, reusable solutions and the ongoing evolution of self-service capabilities aligned to business value.
A bit about you
We are seeking a professional experienced in product management or delivery roles, including working with data and analytics. You'll bring strong strategy and consulting-style problem solving, applying structured thinking to shape product direction, define priorities, and drive a clear, outcome-focused roadmap.
Experience within enterprise self-service data environments and collaborating with architecture, engineering, and vendor teams to deliver scalable outcomes is highly regarded, alongside familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
You bring strong technical expertise in self-service analytics, including reporting, visualisation, and governed data access, alongside the ability to develop business cases for capability uplift. With excellent communication skills, you translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences and drive adoption through clear processes, guardrails, and targeted enablement to deliver sustained business value.
